Wave-Core™ Manufactured with FDA-Compliant Base Resin

Liberty Plastics Wave-Core™ corrugated plastic offers extraordinary flexibility and durability for a wide range of applications. Upon request, Wave-Core™ may be manufactured using raw HDPE resin that complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 requirements for food contact applications.

Flame Retardant Wave-Core™

Liberty Plastics Wave-Core™ corrugated plastic provides exceptional flexibility and durability for various applications. Our Wave-Core™ FR products, crafted with a specially formulated HDPE resin, meet UL 94 V-2 standards, enhancing resistance to combustion. Crucial for fire prevention, this fully compounded HDPE resin meets flammability requirements, resisting ignition, flame spread, and heat release while maintaining the key characteristics of our Wave-Core™ material.

Standard Additives

Wave-core™ uV stability

Liberty Plastics Wave-Core™ is treated with UV stabilizers to enhance its resistance to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This UV stable treatment helps prevent the material from degrading or yellowing when exposed to sunlight over time. By incorporating UV stabilizers into the corrugated plastic, it becomes better equipped to withstand prolonged outdoor exposure, ensuring longevity and maintaining its aesthetic appeal. This treatment is particularly valuable for applications where the material is exposed to sunlight, such as signage, outdoor displays, or protective coverings.

Wave-Core™ Corona Treated

Corona treatment is a surface modification process commonly applied to Wave-Core™ corrugated plastic to improve adhesion and printability. During corona treatment, the material's surface is exposed to a high-voltage electrical discharge, creating a plasma that enhances the surface energy and promotes better adhesion of inks, coatings, or adhesives. This treatment is especially crucial for achieving optimal results in graphics, text, or branding applied to corrugated plastic products.

Color Options

Wave-Core™ is available in a range of colors to cater to diverse preferences and applications. The standard color options include white, black, and natural. Additionally, custom colors can be accommodated to meet specific design or branding requirements.
